As a Canadian, I am skeptical of most charities in Canada that don't serve Canada. It doesn't take much brain power to realize the tax advantage is not worth the overhead and mismanagement. My donations have gone to Come Back Alive, United24, and coming soon to Prytula Foundation.
I find the idea that multiple Canadian military officers would band together to profit in some unspecified way from donations to help Ukraine to be rather implausible. Sure, not everyone at Mriya Aid and Mriya Report always communicates in an optimum way. And buying and delivering military equipment in a wartime environment is stressful and likely to be error-prone from time to time. But unless you have actual proof of malfeasance, as oppose to normal human frailty, I don't think there's much to see here.
Lekh. Been a while but I just wanted to reply to this “document” since you decided to list my X address and then block me. I just wanted to let you know that the UAV equipment that you called “cheap Chinese knock offs” (after you recommended them to the board in writing) are now listed AFU equipment. Awards have been won for units using them on 100+ missions. They have flown in THE MOST EW SATURATED environments on the battlefield. You are the worst kind of person I can think of. You lie. You are a coward (you say you are a doctor - why are you not back in Ukraine saving the lives of Ukrainian soldiers). I am told there is much worse about you but I haven’t seen it myself. The lies and the obvious cowardice I have seen. I am very proud of the work I’ve done in Ukraine. The only good thing about having come across you is that it lead to me meeting a lot of extremely brave Ukrainians - they are the antithesis of you.
